Restorative. Productive.

Which one do you think I’m better at?

I’ve mastered productivity. Restoration? That’s my missing piece.

I’ve got a bullet journal full of tasks, which I take great satisfaction from x-ing out, and none of the tasks say ME TIME. We don’t really log me time that way, do we? Maybe we should.

Maybe I need to start a separate entry area called me time and schedule some in. Not necessarily a bad idea if you like lists and schedules. And obviously, I like lists and schedules.

In a podcast I have coming up, I really just touch on the difference between leaning into restorative activity and leaning into productivity.

And yet, both matter in this aging journey. Productivity can be defined however we want, but to be effective at it, we need the fuel that comes from restoring our energy, our spirit, our mental and physical self.
